Only one side to a story?
Today I had to stay at the high school for a little bit longer than normal because my ride was running late. I decided to go on the computer in the library and look up you know some guys preferably One direction, Channing Tatum,etc; just minding my own business and then some kid, who no body even cares about, its right by me and looks in my computer like I know who he is. I have to admit the personal bubble was officially popped but that’s not what pissed me off what pissed me off was what he said next.
” Why are you looking up only white guys, your black it’s a rule that black girls are ONLY suppose to be with black guys.”
I couldn’t say anything, believe it OR not but it took all the strength in my body not to smash the keyboard across this red-necks face. This isn’t the first time this has happened at the school I mean my own acquaintience actually had the gull to tell me that I would’nt even have a chance with a white guy, but it’s okay if the black guys at this school can hook up or go out with a white girl!
I just want to know what idiot made up this “rule” why is it that a white girl can go out with a black guy but if the places are turned I’m looked down upon. That’s just something I don’t understand nor like why do people feel that it should still be the 50’s when it’s the 21st century? Why in this day of age do people still look at this world like it’s only black or white.
I guess I’m just going to have to just stick it out until I graduate; I mean it’s not that far away anyways but still I guess somethings need to have a change. The problem for me is that somewhere in this school there has to be somebody who is going to change the rules I just think it’s time for it to have a major coloring session!
